Year 28 Marathon Packing List

With our 2023 marathon only 9 days away, we wanted to share a packing list for our 28th marathon! Whether you are in the Garnet and Gold shift, here are the things that you will need to be prepared for the hours ahead!


Clothing

  • Comfortable Bottoms

    • Leggings, basketball shorts, shorts, joggers, etc.

    • DM Merchandise

    • Sweater or Sweatshirt

    • Team T-shirt

    • Theme hour outfits

    • Socks/Undergarments

    • Extra shoes

      • Sneakers, Birkenstocks, slippers, etc.

      • Variety is important (it will help your feet hurt less)

Toiletries

  • Deodorant

  • Lip Balm

  • Dry Shampoo

  • Makeup Wipes

  • Tooth Brush

  • Tooth Paste

  • Face Wash

  • Bandaids

  • Hair Ties

  • Hair Brush

  • Advil/Tylenol/Ibuprofen

  • Any other medication you might need

Electronics

  • Phone charger

  • Portable Charger

Miscellaneous

  • Fanny Pack

  • Food/Snacks

    • Pre-packaged items!!

    • Protein bars are a good snack that will help you feel energized!

  • Energy Drinks

  • Reusable Water Bottle

  • A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP

    • The night before your shift you should get a lot of sleep so you’re ready for the marathon!
